Chapter 18
Sasuke left the hospital and looked up to the sky. Finally they had let him go. He only had some small wounds in his arm, but they managed to keep him there for at least a week!
“I’ve been waiting for you.” A familiar voice said. Sasuke turned around to see Kakashi. “It’s rare to see you actually wait for someone, Kakashi.” Sasuke said sarcastically.
Kakashi smiled. Sasuke continued walking. “Going somewhere? Sasuke.” Kakashi was already walking beside him. “Leave me alone, Kakashi.” Sasuke muttered. “I’m sorry, but we were going to talk.” “Do we have to?” “Yes.” “Why now?” “Because you have already delayed our chat once, Sasuke.” “Hmpf.”
He sighed deeply and stopped walking, looking at his sensei. “What do you want to hear?” “Why did you go after Sakura on your own?”
Sasuke doubted and looked at Kakashi, frowning. “… Because I felt like it.” He decided. Kakashi nodded. “Of course you did.” “Alright, I felt like it was my fault.” Sasuke admitted, getting more annoyed with every second passing by. “Why?” Kakashi asked. Sasuke walked on and his sensei followed.
“Because.” Sasuke said. “It’s none of your business. I just have a guilty feeling about this all.”
“Because she’s taken by Itachi?” He heard Kakashi ask. Ouch. That question hit him hard.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” He snapped back. Kakashi raised his shoulders. “You’ll tell me that.”
He poofed away. Sasuke kept walking, straight towards his apartment.
‘I hate him.’ A grumpy voice said in his head, sounding suspecting much like an Inner Sasuke.

Finally, it was Halloween.
“Sakura-chan! Are you ready to go, yeah!?” “Coming!”
Deidara sighed and played a little with his tie. Yes, he was wearing a tie, since his party was a formal one. He wore an orange shirt and he had thrown his brown coat professionally over his shoulder. His hair wasn’t tied up for the change and hang loose around his shoulders. He looked up to the top of the stairs again and saw Sakura.
She was so beautiful. She was wearing the black with red dress they had bought together. The sash was bounded around her hips, not to tight, and the stone from the neckless matched her eyes exactly. She only had a small amount of makeup, but it made her green eyes more notable and her lips were ever darker red, from which you got the urge to kiss them. She had her hair tied back with a dark ribbon instead of her headband, although Deidara still was wearing his.
“Wow.” He whispered. Sakura blushed. “How- how do I look?” She tried to straighten the dress a little. “You look…” Deidara searched a while for the right word. “…Breathtaking, yeah.”
Sakura smiled and walked down the stairs slowly, like the main character in a movie, with one hand on the rail, and the most pretty smile in the world.
Itachi walked into the hall. He wore a black suit, with a deep red tie. His outfit matched Sakura’s very much. His hair was tied in a tail, as always, but it hung over his right shoulder now. He looked at Sakura and Sakura looked at him.
“Err… Shall we go, yeah?” Deidara asked. Sakura nodded and finished the last steps. Deidara smiled and turned to two large doors and went through. Sakura looked around, to find Itachi who was standing right next to her now.
She hugged his arm and smiled up at him. He just looked back at her, but it wasn’t cold. His gaze was kind and warm.
Together, they walked to the doors and Itachi pushed them open with his free arm. They went in.
They entered a very pretty ballroom. Around the dance floor, tables to stand next to were placed, where mostly men, but also a lot of woman stood. Soft traditional music played and a small amount of couples were dancing. Sakura immediately noticed Zetsu’s ‘head’ stuck out in a group of people in the corner. And she saw some girl talking to Deidara. Deidara became red and shook his head, but the blonde girl grabbed his hand and dragged him on the dance floor.
“…Nice.” Sakura decided to say. Itachi didn’t reply.
Suddenly, a lot of the girls were staring at Sakura. She looked around, confused and ashamed. Everyone didn’t seem to look really happy.
“Why is everyone staring at me…?” She muttered as quiet as possible when she and Itachi walked to the table with drinks. “Jealous, maybe.” Itachi replied simple. He picked up one of the glasses, which were all filled with a deep red liquid, and took a zip. Sakura let go of his arm with one hand to pick up a glass and take a zip as well. It tasted really sweet. It was good.
“Be careful, there’s a lot of alcohol in it, I don’t want you to get drunk.” Itachi warned her. Sakura nodded and they watched people dance and zipped their drinks.
After a while, the music stopped and the people applauded. Sakura softly joined and Itachi did nothing.
Deidara stood all alone on the dance floor and smiled.
“Thanks everyone for coming, yeah!” He said happy. “Anyway, happy Halloween, yeah. Please enjoy, and we will do an opening dance for you as a welcome, yeah!”
Everyone applauded again. Just when Sakura wanted to join, she suddenly felt Itachi taking her glass and placing it away. “What-” She started offended. Itachi took her to the dance floor.
“Deidara always thinks he’s the Leader or something at his parties.” Itachi said while walking. “He tells everyone that the Akatsuki members will do an opening dance, and we only do it because then he’ll never ask us something again for a whole year long.”
“B; But I’m not a m-m-member yet!” Sakura tried panicking. “But I am. Do you want me to dance with an other girl?” They stopped at the dance floor and he turned to face her. “N- No, of course not.” She said quickly, feeling herself blush. “Then it’s settled.” He answered.
He took her left hand with his right and held them up. Then, he placed his left hand on her waist. Seeing there was no going back, she laid her right hand on his shoulder.
She was surprised when she heard the first tunes of Bailamos, by Enrique Iglesias. Looking to the left, she saw Kisame, dressed in a very lousy black with white suit, and he was with someone with bright blue hair with a flower in it. Somewhere next to them was Sasori. He wore a dark blue suit with a black tie, which matched his red hair really good. He smiled to the really handsome, dark tinned girl in front of him. Sakura turned her head and saw Deidara with the same blonde as before.
Time to search more wasn’t left, because Itachi started dancing and Sakura followed. Of course would Itachi lead and would she follow. It was only natural for Itachi to lead.
‘Quick quick, slow.’ Sakura tried to remember her dancing lessons. It went like crap already.
Tonight we dance
I’ll leave my life in your hands
We take the floor
Nothing is forbidden anymore
She looked up, straight in his crimson red eyes. He looked back. She totally forgot about everything else as she did the steps automatically. She only had to look in his eyes.
Don’t let the world in outside
Don’t let a moment go by
Nothing can stop us tonight!
Bailamos, let the rhythm take you over
Bailamos, te quiero, amor mio
Bailamos, wanna live this life for ever
Bailamos, te quiero, amor mio, te quiero
He slowly spun her around once before placing his hand back on her hip. She danced beautiful. He knew how damned lucky he was with her. He could have never even imagined a life with such a beautiful, smart and tender girl as Sakura.
He loved her.
Tonight I’m yours
We can make it happen for so sure
I wont let it go
There is something I think you should know
She wondered why he was so handsome. She wondered why he was so sweet. She wondered why he loved him. But the only thing she knew it that she did love him. Where they really meant to be? Her? With Itachi?
I wont be leaving your side
Were gonna dance through the night
I wanna reach for the stars!
Bailamos, let the rhythm take you over
Bailamos, te quiero, amor mio
Bailamos, wanna live this life for ever
Bailamos, te quiero, amor mio, te quiero
His hand on her hips pushed her closed. Her arm slid righter around his neck. She had always wondered how it was to have a boyfriend and fain the rewards that followed. Now she could finally stop wondering. He was the kindest, sweetest, prettiest, strongest and the most loyal boyfriend that lived on earth. She was sure of it.
Tonight we dance,
Like no tomorrow,
If you will stay with me
Te quiero mi amor
Bailamos, let the rhythm take you over
Bailamos, te quiero, amor mio
Bailamos, wanna live this life for ever
Bailamos, te quiero, amor mio, te quiero
Como te quiero
Como te quiero
Como te quiero
Como te quiero
Como te quiero…
When the song ended, the dancers got a huge applause. Sakura slowly let go of Itachi, while she actually didn’t want to, and smiled a little to the people around. Itachi left his hand around her waist and turned his head to stared daring at Sasori, who was looking at them.
Sasori looked back as evil and turned around. But he hadn’t been the only one who had been staring at the two.
Deidara looked at how Sakura smiled to Itachi and pulled him to the table with drinks. Deidara didn’t know why it was always Itachi who seemed to steal the ones he loved away. If he liked a girl a lot, it would never work out, because or she was in love with Itachi, or she became killed by Itachi. And now Sakura, the girl who had became his best friend, but also the one he loved more then his own life, was in love with him. Itachi. Te one who was ruining his life.
Deidara clenched his fists and gritted his teeth at the sight of Itachi’s cool, relaxed face.
“I hate you… Uchiha Itachi… Yeah.” He whispered.

At the end of the evening, Sakura felt dead tired. Maybe one of those nice sweet drinks could wake her up a little.
Sasori saw her slowly walk to the drinks. She was drunk for sure. Weak. Tired. A grin crept over his face. That bet was in his pocket. Idiotic Itachi to leave. Sasori didn’t know why, but Itachi had left some minutes ago, saying to Sakura he would be back in half an hour.
Sasori walked up to her, making a plan in his head. Itachi was going to train her. He had heard from Kisame that Itachi had already trained her before. So if Sasori could make Itachi hate Sakura, he wouldn’t train her anymore, and she would fail for the Akatsuki tests. Simple.
“Sakura-san, I’ll bring you to your bed, come on.” He said against her when he was standing next to her. She looked up, confused at first, but smiled happy when she recognised him.
“Sasori-san!” She yelled out overjoyed, and hiccupped. He sighed. “Come on.” “Aw, why!?” “Because everyone’s gone, except for the Akatsuki, who are cleaning up the mess, and I’ll have to clean up this pink mess over here.” “HAHAHAHA, you’re so FUNNY Sasori-san!!!!” “Geez, don’t scream, come on…”
Sakura laughed so hard she had to use the table to stay standing. Sasori sighed again and seceded to just lift her up. So he laid her on his shoulder and left the ballroom. He went up the stairs and walked straight to the door with the cherry-tree.
Sasori opened it and walked up to the bed, and laid her down on it. He went back to the door. For a moment, Sakura thought he would leave, but he just closed the door and walked back. He sat down on he bed and closed the curtains. Immediately, the sounds of the birds and the wind and the light from the sun were blocked out.
So they were sitting on her bed, staring at each other in the total silence and darkness.
“Cool huh, sound proof!” Sakura said, giggling, trying to break the silence a little.
Suddenly, she was lying on her back, with Sasori’s face only an inch away from hers. His hands were pushing her wrists next to her body as he locked her in with only his gaze.
When she opened her mouth to protest, he immediately pushed his lips against hers and slid his tongue inside, exploring her mouth.
Sakura felt so dizzy, weak, tired and confused, in other words, she was so drunk she just closed her eyes to answer his kiss. When he felt her doing that, he let go of her wrists so she wrapped them around his neck. His left hand pinched her breast as his right crept underneath her dress, up to her female parts.
The curtains got almost ripped off when someone pulled them open with huge force. The sounds and the light were back in a second. Shocked, Sakura let go of Sasori and turned to see who had busted them. Sasori, who apparently totally didn’t care, looked up very slow.
Itachi stared down at Sakura, with a weird feeling. He couldn’t fine one right word for it, but he was… Sad, shocked, angry and overwhelmed with surprise at the same time.
Sakura hiccupped again, and Itachi could smell the cloud of alcohol. But that didn’t make the feeling go away. The pain.
“Sorry for interrupting.” He said, deadly cold, before turning around and leaving. He slammed the door closed behind him. HARD.
“I- Itachi-” Sakura started, shocked, but Sasori laid his hand on her mouth. “He isn’t worth it.” He only said.
Sakura became angry. She pulled his hand off her mouth. “I HATE YOU!!!” She screamed. “GET OFF OF ME! NOW!”
When he didn’t move, Sakura gathered all her left strength to push him off and she quickly jumped on the ground.
She couldn’t lose him. Not now. Not him.
Sakura threw the door open and smashed it closed behind her.
“ITACHIIII!!!!”
